There have been very few people who managed to get to the end of their life with no regrets. Many have admitted most of those regrets were for things they had not done, and they wish they had not let fear overcome them. If they had their life to live one more time, many would charge into it full force. These people have left a legacy of social change that is now bearing fruit. Many younger people have decided to let go of fear, and they are living their lives as never before.
In the past, society encouraged people to find a mate, get married and settle down. There was little room for people to experience a wide range of adventures. They were belittled as being selfish and irresponsible unless they saved their adventurous side for retirement. Even with longer lives, people have learned not to wait for retirement, and this includes not settling for a relationship until they are truly ready.
